Additionally Nokia Drive+ Beta features offline maps which allow you to download street maps and calculate a route completely offline. This will allow you to continue your navigated journey uninterrupted even you loose your active network connection. Offline maps are also a great way to save rising data costs.

Setting up Nokia Drive for Voice Navigation is easy
  • Select and download a suitable language file. This language file will offer he voice which will give you directions when you drive. If you haven't already installed the language files you can download them under Settings > Navigation Voice. -
  • The next step is to download Maps for your region. Map files can be quite large, so make sure that you are connected to your Wi-Fi before you proceed with this step. You can download additional maps by heading over to Settings > Manage Maps.
Keep in mind that Nokia Drive+ is still in beta and is being refined. In order to get the full experience you will have to download street maps on this beta. If you haven't downloaded a particular map for your journey, you will be prompted to do so when you set your course. My Commute which will be a part of the final version of Nokia Drive is currently not available in this beta.
