The Google Nexus 4 sells out in the U.K. Play Store in 30 minutes
The Google Nexus 4 features a 4.7 inch HD touch display, up to 16GB of internal storage an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary HD camera for video calls, NFC and will be powered by a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. It offers users the best value for money at its class starting at $299 for the 8GB model, while the 16GB version costs $350.
The device went on sale today in the Play Store in the U.K., Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and managed to sell out its stock in the U.K. in just 30 minutes.
In fact users were unable to complete their sales on the Play Store with stocks selling out before they could complete their purchase.
The Google Nexus 10 32GB variant has also been sold out, with the 16GB version the only one remaining in stock and it may not be long before it follows suite.
Users in Australia have also been very anxious to get their hands on the new Nexus series, as both the Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 have sold out there as well. Meanwhile if you are living in the United States be sure to keep your eyes on the Google Play Store if you want to get your hands on one of the devices before they sell out.
We aren't sure if the sell-outs are due to a high demand or tight supply, but it looks like Google has made the right choices with their pricing and feature set offered with their newest lineup.
