Samsung recently revealed which of their devices around the world will receive Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. We know that carrier based models are generally slower with the updates and Samsung has revealed which devices in the US will be receiving the latest version of Android.
The Galaxy Nexus which receives updates directly from Google, not surprisingly is the first in line for Jelly Bean.
Meanwhile the Galaxy S III for Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular are listed to be coming soon. Jelly Bean ROMs have already started appearing for the Galaxy S III and we expect the official update to start rolling out before the end of this year.
A notable absentee is the Galaxy S II which will be receiving Jelly Bean around the world is unfortunately not on the update list.
