The Nokia Lumia 820 is available in the UK on pre-order through Carphone Warehouse. You can purchase the device SIM-free for £379.95 ($623 USD) or choose a monthly plan through O2, Orange or Vodafone and get the device for free. However Carphone Warehouse has still not revealed when the device is due to be shipped.
The Lumia 820 features a 4.3 inch touch display, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor.
The carrier plans are priced starting from 29, with each carrier offering different prices and features in their plans. The £29 price from O2 will give you 600 anytime any network minuets, unlimited texts and 100MB of data, while Vodafone’s plan offers 300 minutes, unlimited text and 250MB of data. Users can choose a plan that suites that requirement.
If you choose to get the device SIM free and unlocked, Nokia will give you a free wireless charging plate, which normally retails at £44.95.
Meanwhile competing retailer Clove also has the unlocked Lumia 820 for pre-order for £399.98, and they have revealed that pre-orders will be delivered on November 8th.
