The smartphone market is filled with some enticing options for consumers looking to get a new mobile device. The Apple iPhone 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S III lead the iOS and Android camps respectively, while the Nokia Lumia 920 is getting set to represent the Windows Phone 8 platform as its newest flagship. If you aren’t interested in any of these devices, you may be interested to know that the next Android Nexus flagship is just around the corner.
A report has suggests that the Google Nexus from LG is set to be released as early as October 29th and the device is rumored to be running the latest version of Android 4.2.
The LG Nexus is expected to be based on the LG Optimus G and is said to bring all its high end specifications including a quad-core processor and 4G LTE connectivity.
It is also reported the device will be a truly global phone and work on AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon networks in the US. We aren’t sure of this last fact will be accurate, since Nexus devices are generally separate for Sprint’s and Verizon’s networks due to carrier specific limitations.
In any case we are looking towards a very busy few days during the end of October.
