Asus has begun sending out invitations for the unveiling of the Asus PadFone 2, the successor to the Asus PadFone which combines a smartphone, tablet and laptop into one product.
The event is said to take place on October 16 and it will be simultaneously held in Taipei and Milan.

Not much is known about this device, but recently leaked benchmarks suggest that the PadFone 2 will come equipped with a quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor. While the image clearly demonstrates an Android device we are curious if Asus will eventually manufacture a Windows based hybrid device.
