Today the Apple iPhone 5 has officially been launched and becomes available for purchase through retail stores around the world and Apple fans are lining up to get their hands on the company’s latest smartphone.
With Apple fans camping outside the Apple Stores for days, waiting in line to get their hands on the newest iPhone and the Apple Store employees counting down the time and feeding the crowds excitement, Apple product launches are a global phenomenon only describable in the following videos.
With Australia being one of the first countries to launch the new iPhone 5, Aussie local Todd became the first proud owner to get his hands on the device, after camping outside the flagship Apple Store in Sydney since Tuesday.
His entry into the Apple Store and purchase of the first iPhone has been recorded in the following video.
Australia and Japan were first in line to get the new iPhone 5.
