The Apple iPhone 5 with iOS 6.0 will be available for purchase starting September 21. However existing devices will get a chance at Apple’s newest operating system a little sooner on September 19th.
The newest version of iOS which primarily features Apple’s very own Mapping solution along with Facebook integration and several other features and improvements.
The following devices will be eligible for the iOS 6 update
- iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS
- new iPad, iPad 2
We were somewhat surprised that the able first generation iPad especially since it will be available to the fourth generation iPod Touch which has similar specs.
