The Samsung Epic Touch 4G – Sprint’s variant of the Samsung Galaxy S II is now receiving its share of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The update offers Android version 4.0.4 and the software version IMM761.FF18.
You will receive a notification when the update is available for your device, and you can check for update availability manually by heading over to Settings.
Sprint's version of the Galaxy S II is considered better than its AT&T and T-Mobile counterparts, because it is the only device to feature both a 4.52 inch display and a dual core Exynos processor. The AT&T Galaxy S II has a smaller display, while the T-Mobile variant features a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
If you own an Epic Touch 4G let us know if you received the update and your experience with the device after the update.
