Back in February we reported that developers had ported Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for the Nokia N9. Now while the Android community is still kept waiting Android 4.1 Jelly Bean has been ported to run on the Nokia N9.Despite Nokia having abandoned the Meego operating system which runs on the N9 it is great to see this device getting treated to various Android ports so quickly.
We wont however recommend running this port on a primary device, it will be fun testing it out on an N9 you have lying around. While the developer Alexy Roslyakov has not yet released a public version of the port, you can follow (him) @drunkdebugger on Twitter for updates on the port.
