Google Nexus S receives Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OTA update on some devices
Google promised that the Nexus S will be one of the first devices in line for Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It turns out that some users are now receiving the latest version of Android as an OTA update on their devices. It is reported that the update process is smooth and that the handset is running well after the update.
The update version JRO03E is 114MB in size, so make sure you are connected to your Wi-Fi during the update process.
Early users who are getting the Jelly Bean update have the Nexus S i9023 and i9020T model and the majority of the devices in the first update pool are in the Asia region.
Nexus S which is one of the Google Experience devices and the second in the Nexus Series is fortunate to be one of the front runners in line for Android updates. The performance decrease which was seen with the ICS update should be irradiated with the faster and smoother Jelly Bean.
Are you one of those lucky Nexus S owners getting your share of Android Jelly Bean?
