Apple OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion released to AppleCare Specialists

As the release of Apple OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion draws closer, a report suggests that the newest Apple desktop operating system is being seeded to specialists at Apple Care.

The build which is being seeded (12A269) appears to be the same build number as the Gold Master version of Mountain Lion which was released to developers through the Mac Developer Program a couple of weeks ago.

This will give Apple Care representatives enough time to familiarize themselves with the new version of Apple OS X before its public launch. While we know OS X Mountain Lion is set to make its public debut in July, we still don’t have a solid date though rumors suggest the new OS will be released on July 24th.

Stay tuned to our Apple Blog for more information on Apple’s newest desktop operating system.
