The Samsung Galaxy S II for T-Mobile will be receiving Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) starting June 11th. This will make the T-Mobile variant the first in the U.S. to receive ICS since the International variant which revived the software update back in April.
T-Mobile made the announcement of the upcoming update through their Facebook Page. Users are advised to connect their devices to the Samsung Kies software in order to update their devices.
With no news on when the AT&T or Sprint variants of the device will be getting their share of ICS, it looks like T-Mobile users will have the advantage for now.
