The Motorola Droid Bionic has received a maintenance update (5.9.905) which brings a few improvements and enhancements to the aging handset. Users will be able to initiate the OTA (over-the-air) update once they receive a notification, instructing them to obtain it.
While the Droid Bionic may not be in line to receive the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update, any form of improvements to the stability of the
smartphone will always be welcome.
The update for the Motorola Droid Bionic has the following new features and improvements
- Re-calibrated volume call connect and disconnect tones to be more comfortable for Bluetooth users.
- Improved Visual Voice Mail to ensure delivery of a notification to the status bar.
- Data stalls have been reduces to improve 4G LTE connectivity.
