The Google+ for Android app received an update today which fixes an issue which users have faced since the app was first launched. The update also offers other improvements, enhancements and bug fixes.

The issue which has been fixed is that links which are posted now have a descriptive visual as they would on the desktop version of Google+. Previously you would only see the plain link posted when you share links.
Other updates include support for hashtags which allows you to easily find and engage in conversations of interest.
