A recent report has revealed that Verizon may be releasing the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to some of their handsets as early as next week.
The devices reported to receive the latest version of Android on April 4th are the Motorola Droid RAZR and the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX.
It is not too surprising that the Motorola Flagship devices are in the front lines for the ICS update even though Motorola looks to be stingy with offering ICS to more of their deserving lineup.
The Droid RAZR features a 4.3 inch touch display, 8 megapixel camera and its powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor. While the Droid RAZR MAXX shares the same 4.3 inch touch display, 8 megapixel camera and a 1.2GHz dual core processor in a slightly thicker 8.99 mm frame.
The update is expected to be made available OTA, so keep your eyes open open on the given date and let us know if Android ICS makes it's way to your devices as the report suggests.
