Lenovo planning Windows Phone for late 2012


Lenovo is reported to be planning to manufacturer Windows Phones in the coming year. The news was shared through Lenovo product manager Chen Yue at a press conference in China.

The handsets are said to be released in China during the second quarter of 2012. Pricing or international availability have not been shared by the support from Big hardware manufactures is a definite win for Microsoft who is climbing a challenging mountain headed by Android and iOS.

Lenovo already produces smartphones and tablets on the Android platform, but have not made enough impact. Will Windows Phone be what the company needs to get their hands into the smartphone market? We will know soon enough.
