[Guide] How to root your Motorola Droid RAZR On Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread


The Motorola Droid RAZR has been rooted on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread. The RAZR is the thinnest smartphone to date measuring at just 7.7mm. The device also features a 4.3 inch touch display, 8 megapixel camera and its powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor.

The guide to root the Motorola Droid RAZR On Android 2.3.5 follows:
  1. Download and install Motorola Drivers for Windows. [ 32-bit | 64-bit ]
  2. Download MotorolaOnceClickRoot_psouza and extract it's contents to a suitable location.
  3. Select Menu from your homescreen and enable USB Debugging from Settings > Applications > Development
  4. Connect your device to your computer
    • Select Charge Only from your notifications.
  5. Navigate to the folder which you extracted in Step 2
    • Run MotorolaOneClickRoot.exe and follow the onscreen instructions

If you have followed the steps correctly you would have successfully rooted your Samsung Galaxy Note, on Android 2.3.5
