Motorola Droid RAZR will receive ICS in early 2012

Now that Motorola and Google are bed buddies we can expect the Moto handsets to get early treatment of the Android goodies, and there will be no exception with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS).

Motorola's Alain Mutricy - senior VP of portfolio management, has confirmed that the Motorola Droid RAZR will be getting ICS at the start of 2012.

Considering that the Google Galaxy Nexus will only be out in November, it's clear that Motorola will be at the top of the line to receive Android love from Google. The major difference in the ICS UI is the lack of hardware buttons, and since most Android Gingerbread devices do have hardware buttons it will be interesting to see how ICS molds into these devices.
