Apple launches 'Tones Store' for texts
Apple has updated their App Store with a new section for tones. The ability to set tones was introduced with iOS 5 and you can customize your tone under settings on your iPhone (Settings > Sounds > Tone)
One of the issues with the iPhone and other iOS devices is that you can't customize them. This is what gave birth to Jailbreaking and customization through Cydia applications.
Tones are priced between $0.99 and $1.29 (which is quite expensive if you consider songs cost the same amount) and when you purchase them, they will be added to your device for future customization.
So would you still consider Jailbreaking your device or be satisfied with the Tone customization Apple has to offer? Let us know your choice in the comments section below.
