Yesterday Amazon announced some new devices to their Kindle lineup. The lead is taken by a 7-inch tablet named the Amazon Kindle Fire which runs an Amazon flavored version of Android 2.3 Gingerbread (Android 2.3.5).
With the Kindle Fire you have access to movies, TV shows, books, magazines, app, games, web browsing and much more. With the cost at $199 users may be able to ignore the fact that the device doesn't feature any cameras or microphone. So you cant use this ultra portable device for voice or video calling.

The Kindle Fire brings the best of Amazon's large collection of digital content on an ultra portable 7 inch IPS touchscreen display and weighs only 14.6 ounces. The Fire has 8GB of storage which will be coupled with your Amazon Cloud. The device also debuts Amazon's new browser - Amazon Silk, which is cloud accelerated.
Three more devices were announced : A new Kindle at $79, and two touch versions, the Kindle Touch at $99 and Kindle Touch 3G at $149. The Kindle and the Kindle Touch will feature E Ink display technology. The 3G version offers free 3G connectivity so you don't have to worry about monthly fees or contracts.
