The Motorola Xoom is finally getting it's 4G LTE upgrade. The upgrade has been expected for months now, with various notifications and rumors. But it looks like the process finally has a date set to begin in September.This news comes from Droid Life which has come across a leaked Verizon memo which states that the XOOM users will be contacted via emails regarding the upgrade. The upgrade process will be free, but would require users to send their XOOM over to Verizon in order to get it upgraded. This upgrade process is said to take up to 6 days with no news on a quicker turn over.
