Apple iOS 4.3.3 released

Apple has released iOS 4.3.3 today which follows the release of iOS 4.3.2 last month. The Verizon (CDMA) iPhone also receives an update with version 4.2.8.

This update targets the iOS location cashing issue which caused quite a bit of trouble of Apple recently. It reduces the amount of data stored in your device and no longer backs up the cache to iTunes. If the user turns off location sharing services it entirely erases all data stored.

The update is also supposed to improve battery life and fix iPod related issues, but this has not been officially confirmed by Apple.

You can download this update by connecting your device to iTunes and waiting for the prompt.

Users who rely on a jailbreak and unlockers are advised to stay clear of this update until the jailbreak community updates their tools to support this new version of iOS 4.3.3/4.2.8
