Samsung Galaxy S receives Android 2.3.3 software update

Samsung is releasing Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread to the Samsung Galaxy S. It is being made available through Samsung's Kies servers in the Nordic countries, Holland and Germany, and should be available in the rest of Europe in the coming days.

There are over 10 million Galaxy S units out there, and some users have been switching to custom ROMs in order to get the latest Android features. This would make this a very appealing update.
