Sony Ericsson Xperia X7 with Windows Phone 7 coming

Sony Ericsson (SE) is supposed to be cooking up Windows Phone 7 devices, and some interested information has surfaced featuring SE's first devices to feature the latest mobile OS from Microsoft.

The Sony Ericsson X7 and the Sony Ericsson X7 mini. This video shows two upcoming Windows Phone 7 device specifications and we see that they are expected to be released in the first quarter of 2011.

The SE X7 will feature a 1.2GHz processor and a 4.3 inch capacitive touch screen. It's 8MP camera will be capable of shooting HD video at 720p. The SE X7 mini will be a camera centric device featuring a 10MP camera with 3x optical zoom and a Xenon Flash. 720p HD video is also possible. The screen will be smaller at 3.5" and it will be powered by a 1GHz processor. Not much of a mini if you ask me.

It looks like these smart phones are going to make quite an impact when they land. I am glad to see that Xenon flash featuring camera phones are part of the release focus of Windows Phone 7 ensuring that they play a big part in the mobile phone market.
