Microsoft announced today that the Windows Phone 7 (WP7) has reached it's RTM (Release To Manufacturing) stage.
Reaching this stage means that Microsoft has fixed all visible issues and are confident that the Mobile OS is ready for manufactures to load on their devices.
Now that the OS has reached RTM stage, all we have to do is sit back and wait for the first device to be released by the manufactures.
Features like copy and paste and multitasking along with Twitter integration will not be a part of this WP7 release and should be expected in future releases.
Windows 7 was set to be released in the holiday season of 2010, now it looks like the holidays may be coming earlier that expected. In any case keep your eyes and years open, as it seams like Windows Phone 7 may be available with your favorite carriers sooner than expected.
