Sony Ericsson Vivaz receives (R2ea023) software update


The Sony Ericsson Vivaz features a 3.2 inch display, a 5 megapixel camera and runs Symbian OS. The device has recently received a update taking the software version to R2ea023.

After downloading and installing the application you can follow the instructions on installing the update. Please note that the update may not be available in your region as yet, and may take some time to find it's way to your device.

To install this update you need to use SE's update service app that you can download here.

Changes include:
  • Faster Start-up;
  • Google Maps update, now supporting search by voice;
  • New Facebook and RoadSync panels which can be added to your home-screen;
  • Enhanced app performance for Facebook, RoadSync, YouTube and Barcode Reader;
  • W-LAN, MMS and Internet Stability improvements;
  • Video Quality Improvement while playing MPEG-4 format;
  • Improvements in multi-tasking performance.
