Apple sells 2 million iPad 2 units in less than 2 months

The Apple iPad 2 has crossed a landmark in the form of sales, which have reached 2 million since its launch on the 3rd of April. Apple has started shipping the new iPad to Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK.

The tablet will be available in 9 more countries in July and more countries later this year. Apple’s venture into the post PC era has been successful and the company seems to be getting ready to reap the benefit of their ventures in the years ahead.
