New redesigned iTunes coming in October

Apple is planning a huge revamp to iTunes which will feature a completely redesigned player, a newly remodeled store and better iCloud integration. The new version of iTunes will be available for download sometime in October.

The new iTunes has been redesigned player which is simpler to use than ever before. The new iTunes will feature simplified library views which will show you exactly what you want. Your music is sorted into albums for easy access and you can as easily browse through your movies, TV shows and apps.

Apple iTunes 10.5 released

Apple iOS 5 is set to be released tomorrow and Apple has made iTunes 10.5 available ahead of time to get ready for the new iOS update. You will need to update to iTunes 10.5 in order to sync any devices running iOS 5.

If you are using a Mac click the Apple Logo and selec Software Update. Windows users can update iTunes by searching for Apple Software Update on their Start Menu and selecting check for updates. You can also download iTunes for Windows or Mac using the link below

Apple iTunes 10.5 Beta 09 released

Apple has released the iTunes 10.5 Beta 09 to developers enrolled in Apple's developer program. The Gold Master (GM) release is expected next Tuesday alongside the GM release of iOS 5 in preparation for the Apple event on the 4th of October.

Apple iTunes 10.5 Beta 08 released

Apple has released the iTunes 10.5 Beta 08 to developers enrolled in Apple's developer program. The iTunes Beta comes without being accompanied by an iOS update which means that iOS 5 Beta 07 will be followed by the Gold Master (GM) release.

If you are a registered developer in Apple's standard or enterprise programs, you can download the latest version of iTunes from here. If you are a registered developer, you are required to pay a fee of $99 a year which gives you exclusive access to the latest beta software from Apple.

Apple iTunes 10.5 beta 6.1 released

Today Apple released iTunes 10.5 Beta 6.1 to developers who are enrolled in the standard or enterprise programs. If you are registered to the program you can download the latest version from here. The new update features the implementation of iTunes Match, which allows users to upload tracks to Apple's iCloud (Beta) service.

When made available, you will be able to store your entire music collection on iCloud for $25 a year. It will only upload songs that are not already on iCloud's service allowing you to access it's already vast number of songs from it's own (256 kbps AAC) collection instead instead of your lower quality file.

Apple has updated their iTunes software to version 10.4. The new version has been designed with OS X Lion in mind. You can now switch iTunes to full-screen mode which is part of the features with come in the new version of OS X. 
This update also brings some stability and performance improvements.

Apple has updated its iTunes software for the Windows and OS X platform, along with it's home brewn Java runtime environment. The iTunes update version 10.2.1 comes days after the release of iTunes 10.2 and is probably aimed at some bugs which were reported including Home Sharing on the recently released iTunes 10.2.
