Angry Birds Trilogy - Coming to gaming consoles

Angry Birds has gone on to become a global phenomenon spanning multiple mobile and desktop platforms. Now Rovio, the makers of the hit game are planning to bring the game to modern gaming consoles including the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo 3DS.

The trilogy will include the original Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio and will be released in December this year ,making it a great Christmas gift for Angry Birds fans.

The My Xbox Live for iOS app has been updated (1.5) and brings new features and improvements. The update brings the iOS version more in par with its Windows Phone counterpart.

Microsoft demonstrates Xbox SmartGlass, allows AirPlay like streaming to iOS, Android and Windows devices

Microsoft demonstrated the previously rumored XBox SmartGlass during the ongoing E3. SmartGlass is a feature will allows you to interact with your Xbox using a second screen of your tablet or smartphone.

Microsoft demonstrated some of the features which will be available through the service.

The Amazing Spider-Man

As the Amazing Spider-Man hits theaters on June 28th, it is also set to be available on gaming consoles around the same time.

Microsoft unveils Nike+ with Kinect integration

Microsoft and Nike have announced a partnership to bring Nike+ with Kinect Integration in the form of a fitness game which was demonstrated during the ongoing E3. Nike’s Vise President took to the stage and stated that Nike+ Kinect Training would work as a personal trainer, benchmarking users and developing personalized workouts to improve their statistics.

Until now Nike apps on gadgets have been exclusive to Apple products and it is good to see the services creatively expanded to the Xbox.

Microsoft unveils Xbox Music, with 30 million tracks at launch

Microsoft’s codenamed Woodstock music service has now been unveiled as Xbox Music. The service will not only be available through the Xbox but also through Windows 8 PCs and Windows Phone devices.

Microsoft did not share too much during the demonstration but stated that the service will debut with 30 million songs and feature the smart DJ service currently available through Zune.

[Xbox Game] Max Payne 3

Max Payne 3 is a third-person shooter video game from Rockstar Games and the third in the Max Payne franchise. It is now available for gamers on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. Max Payne 3 is the sequel to the second game in the series, and features an older Max Payne working abroad with a new life and a new job. But as fans may know how danger follows Max, his life is quickly turned upside down.

Electronic Arts releases official gameplay trailer for Crysis 3

Following the release of a tease trailer a couple of days ago, Electronic Arts has now unveiled the official trailer of Crysis 3. The gameplay trailer gives us a better glimpse of what we can expect when the game is released in 2013 for the Xbox 360,  PlayStation 3 and the PC.

Halo 4 - Launch date revealed

Microsoft first announced that Halo 4 will be released during the 2012 Holiday season and demonstrated what we can expect in a teaser trailer. Now they have confirmed that the game will be released on November 6th

The storyline will continue where it left off in Halo 3 by answering many of the questions which were left unanswered about Master Chief - the protagonist of the series.

Xbox 360 receives firmware update

Microsoft has released an update for the Xbox 360 which is aimed at fixing problems with the console's video playback quality. Microsoft also released an update to the console last month which added new features but reduced video playback quality.

New Xbox 360 Dashboard coming tomorrow

Users of the Microsoft Xbox 360 are getting ready for an update, and it's coming to the Dashboard. The Dashboard is the main UI on the Xbox 360 which controls everything you do on your gaming console.

The update is a part of Microsoft's effort to unify the user experience across they device portfolio by bringing the Metro UI from Windows Phone and Windows 8 to the Xbox and to give users the ability to interact between their Windows based devices seamlessly.
