GTA 5 release date pushed back, now coming on September 17

Grand Theft Auto is coming soon and though fans have been eagerly anticipating the title being released during Spring 2013, the developers have pushed the date back to September 17. This will surely disappoint several gamers, who would have been impatiently waiting for a chance to get their hands on this addictive game. This will also likely affect the momentum that Rockstar has been generating with the title.

Grand Theft Auto V screenshots are stunning


We now know that Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) is set to be released in early 2013 and over the last few months we have been getting little tastes of what to expect in the form of screenshots and teaser trailers. Recently Rockstar, the game’s developers have revealed some detailed screenshots showing off more of what we can expect from from the latest in the GTA franchise.

The GTA franchise has always been popular, but it really rose to the top with the release of GTA III, which even made its way to modern smartphones and tablets, 10 years after its debut. Now with GTA Vice City making its way to our mobile devices lets take a look at what Rockstar has in store for our consoles.

Microsoft Xbox 360 software update, brings 32GB USB storage support


It wasn't too long ago Microsoft released a software update for the Xbox 360 which brought several new changes and improvements including an updated interface. One of the features which wasn't publicized has now been revealed and that is that the Xbox 360 now supports 32GB USB storage devices.

Previously users were able to use up to 16GB USB storage devices as memory cards for their Xbox 360. While we would have preferred to see the platform support at least 64GB, we are happy to see this added option introduced.

GTA 5 coming in Spring 2013, pre-order on November 5

If you are an avid GTA fan you would definitely have had your eyes on the Grand Theft Auto V screenshots. If you haven't don't worry, you can check them out here and here. The game is shaping up to be something great and fans cannot wait to get their hands on the newest title as soon as possible.

The developers of GTA V have now confirmed that the game is headed to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in the Spring of 2013.

Xbox Music will not be available for Windows 7 or Windows Phone 7

Unfortunately this service will remain an exclusive to the above mentioned platforms and will not be available to users of Windows 7 and Windows Phone 7 devices.

Xbox 360 receives firmware update, brings new UI and several new features and improvements


Following a period of public beta testing, Microsoft has started rolling out a firmware update to the Xbox 360 which brings several new improvements and enhancements. Due to the large scale of this update it may take several days before it reaches the over three million Xbox consoles around the world.

When the update is available for your device, you should receive a notification which will allow you to initiate the update.

Xbox Music set to launch on Tuesday, won't be available for Windows Phone 7

Microsoft is set to launch their new Xbox Music service as early is tomorrow. Xbox music is a rebranding of the company’s Zune Music service which has been around for some time now. Similar to Zune, you will be able to purchase songs and you will have an unlimited streaming monthly pass for $9.99. But Microsoft seams to have more than that in store for their users.

A couple of months ago we reported that Rovio had announced Angry Birds Trilogy for gaming consoles. It seams that time as come as the game has now landed for the Xbox 360, Sony PS3 and Nintendo 3DS.

Microsoft removes Live branding from Windows Phone games


Microsoft is hard at work readying Windows Phone 7.8 and Windows Phone 8.0 for public consumption. One of the changes will be the rebranding of the Windows Phone Marketplace to the Windows Phone Store, but it looks like Microsoft will also be dropping the Live branding from the Xbox game titles within the Store as well.

[Xbox app] YouTube updated, offers speed improvements

The YouTube app for Xbox 360 has been released and promises to be five times faster than the previous version.You can download the update by opening the application on your Xbox 360 console and accepting the update if you are an Xbox Gold customer.


If you don’t receive the update automatically you can download it manually through the Xbox Live Marketplace.
