Lenovo introduces new high end Vibe lineup for international market


Lenovo is known for being one of the top PC manufacturers, but the company has also been making enormous leaps in market share. Lenovo is now the second largest smartphone manufacturer in China and the fourth largest in the world according to a May report by IDC.

Unfortunately Lenovo is still losing money in the smartphone division because of its low profit margins and despite being second to only Samsung, they don't want their brand to be associated with low quality handsets anymore.

Lenovo Vibe X officially announced

The Lenovo Vibe X which is also known as the IdeaPhone S960 features a 5 inch touch display with a 1920 by 1080 pixel resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device itself is quite thin and light at 6.9mm and 121g, and it is made of "premium polycarbonate body" with what is supposedly a "fabric-like surface". You even get the latest version of  on the device.

Lenovo has included a 13 megapixel camera with autofocus, a BSI sensor and LED flash. There is also a 5 megapixel front facing camera with a wide-angle lens for video calls. The Vibe X is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6589T processor with 2GB of RAM.
