Toshiba Thrive receives (3.2.1.31.5.0003) software update

The Toshiba Thrive has just received a minor software update (3.2.1.31.5.0003) which is reported to optimize functionality on select applications and utilities from Toshiba and Google. If you have not received an alert for this update you can install it manually under system updates.

The Toshiba Thrive which features a 10 inch touch display, dual cameras, upto 32GB of internal storage and a 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM.

While the Toshiba Thrive eagerly awaits its turn of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. But for now we will have to be satisfied with this interim update which could be laying the foundation for ICS which should be just around the corner.

Toshiba Thrive receives update to fix sleep issue

Some Toshiba Thrive users have been plagued with a bug that keeps the devices from waking up once they went to sleep. Toshiba informed users last week that they were preparing an update to fix this issue and they have kept their word by releasing the update.

The Toshiba Thrive features a 10.1 inch touch display, up to 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 5 megapixel camera capable of 720p HD video capture, a secondary 2 megapixel camera for video calls and is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core NVidia Tegra 2 processor with 1GB of RAM.
