RIM is holding a contest on Twitter giving it's followers a chance to win a BlackBerry PlayBook and a BlackBerry Bold along with some other prizes. The contest will start off today at 2.00 PM EST and continue daily through Friday.

New BlackBerry phones coming to AT&T

BlackBerry devices seam to have taken a backseat at AT&T this year, with Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile getting the newer smartphones from RIM. But the wait seams to be over of AT&T customers waiting for the newest BlackBerry handsets.

AT&T has annoucned dates for three upcoming BlackBerry handsets on their network. The BlackBerry Bold 9900 and the BlackBerry Torch 9860 will be arriving on November 6th and the BlackBerry Curve 9360 will be arriving on November 20th.

BlackBerry Bold 9900 coming to AT&T on November 6th

AT&T has traditionally been the first in bringing BlackBerry devices since they introduced the BlackBerry Bold 9000 in 2008. But the Bold 9900 has already been introduced by T-Mobile along with it's CDMA variant the BlackBerry Bold 9930 on Verizon and Sprint. So AT&T looks to be trailing in last on announcing this device.

BlackBerry Bold 9900 released for T-Mobile

RIM has released the BlackBerry Bold 9900 for T-Mobile and it will cost $299.99 with a two-year contract. You can get the device on the T-Mobile website or from your local T-Mobile store.

BlackBerry Bold 9900 available through T-Mobile

T-Mobile announced the availability of the BlackBerry Bold 9900 which will be the first 4G BlackBerry smartphone to run on T-Mobile's 4G network. The device is teh thinnest smartphone from RIM and features a 1.2GHz processor and runs the BlackBerry OS 7 mobile operating system.

The Bold 9900 will also be the first device to come preloaded with T-Mobile's MobileLife Family Organizer application, which allows families to manage a shared calendar, shopping lists, to-do lists and a family journal.
