Back in early January we reported that Nokia was planning to close access to their Navifirm repository, which allowed users to download and manually flash firmware files to their Nokia Symbian and Windows Phone devices. However it looks like that time has finally come as access to Nokia firmware images through the Navifirm tool has now been blocked.Users who attempt to use the tool to download the firmware images will be faced with an error message and you will need a Nokia Online login to access firmware images in future.
