Alcatel OneTouch Idol X - Hands On Video

The Alcatel OneTouch Idol X is the newest flagship from the company which was showcased at the ongoing MWC. The device features a 5.0 inch touch display with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor .

The Idol X has been built thin at just 7.1 mm and light despite its large display, and is fairly compact as a result of its thin side bezel. Alcatel has used a soft touch texture on the rear of the device which comes in a variety of colors and resists fingerprints.

You can select between a single SIM and dual-SIM variant, but keep in mind that the dual SIM won't include the microSD card slot. Another interesting factor is that  Alcatel will be adding either an 8MP or a 13MP camera depending on the region the device is sold.

Overall the Alcatel One Touch Idol X will be a top competitor among the 5 inch display smartphones. Would you choose it as your main device? Leave us your thoughts below.
