The ZTE Grand S has been officially unveiled at the CES 2013 as the world’s thinnest 5 inch full HD display at just 6.9 mm thin. The Grand S features a 5 inch display with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 13 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera capable of 1080p HD video calls, and is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with 2GB of RAM.
One of the features which have been sacrificed in the device has been the battery which has a 17890 mAh capacity due to its thin profile. Thin is the smallest battery on a device of its class and preliminary endurance tests have shows than the Grand S may have a reduced battery life as a result of its slim chassis.
It will come down to the user’s personal preference of beauty over bulk.

The ZTE Grand S was introduced at a special press event at the Las Vegas Convention Center and will remain on display at the ZTE booth (Las Vegas Convention Center, Booth #36612) throughout CES.
The ZTE Grand S will be available for online purchase in China first in Q1 of 2013
