BlackBerry Z10 goes up against competition in a low-light camera test

With the new BlackBerry Z10 smartphone making its way to the market its important to see how it fairs against its biggest competitors. The Z10 features a 4.2 inch touch display with a 768 x 1280 pixel resolution, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 2GB of RAM.

The candidates for the test include the Samsung Galaxy S III, Apple iPhone 5 and the Nokia Lumia 920 - Three smartphones which feature very capable 8 megapixel cameras.  How better to compare their camera capabilities than with a low light photo test.

The Lumia 920 is a clear winner thanks to its optical image stabilization and floating lens technology. The Galaxy S III and iPhone 5 are respectable but the Z10 does the worst out of the four. Keep in mind that the photos are captured without a flash, and its likely that a flash will be used in such situations.
