[Guide] How to install Siri on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS or iPod Touch running iOS 6.0

Apple continues to keep Siri exclusive to their newer iOS devices, but a new method enables installing Siri on your jailbroken Apple iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS or iPod Touch 4. Keep in mind that this process is only valid for devices running Apple’s A4 processor or lower.

[NOTE] We do not recommend installing jailbroken software as it may affect the optimal performance of your iOS device. Please proceed at your own risk.

  1. JailBreak your iOS 6.0 device. You can find an tethered jailbreak guide here, as there is no untethred jailbreak method at the time of writing this post.
    -
  2. Open Cydia, go to Manage, Sources and click Edit.
    -
  3. Click Add and enter http://repo.sirport.ru, then click Add Source.
    -
  4. Wait for the source to be verified and the packages to be updated for that source.
    -
  5. Once completed return to Cydia where you will see a new source SiriPort.Ru
    -
  6. Open the source and click on SiriPort (Original) iOS 6 to install the package.
    -
  7. The package is rather large and should take some time to install, ensure you are connected to Wi-Fi to avoid data charges.
    -
  8. Once the package has completed installing, click Reload Springboard.
    -
  9. On your homescreen open Settings and open SiriPort Original.
    -
  10. Open it and click on Install Certificate, and follow the onscreen prompts to Install a new profile to your iOS device.
    -
  11. Once completed reboot your device into its jailbroken state and you should be able to enjoy Siri.

[NOTE] A Siri link will also appear under Settings > General and will display that the Siri service is switches off. Please leave this setting as it is.

[NOTE] You may receive an error message when you first attempt to use Siri on your device. This is because your device is unable to connect directly with Apple’s servers to check your queries. Be patient and it should work without an issue eventually.
