Five reasons you should upgrade to the Apple iPhone 5

Following the success of lasts week’s post on five reasons not to upgrade to the iPhone 5 we decided to take a look at the other side of the coin. The iPhone 5 demonstrates Apple’s engineering prowess as the company continues to pack more and more features into a thinner and lighter shell.

So for all the buyers out there who are on the fence wondering if they upgrade their device, here are five reasons you should upgrade to the Apple iPhone 5 .

Number 01 - Larger Display

display_imageFor the first time in five years the iPhone 5 introduces a larger 4 inch display compared to the 3.5 inch display on the older iPhones. By making the display taller and not wider Apple claims that the iPhone 5 will remain easy to use with one hand. The new display offers 18% more pixels and has 44% better color saturation.

In order to contribute to the thinner device the display has been made 30% thinner than before by integrating the sensors into the display.

Number 02 – Thinner, Lighter and Stronger

Apple’s newest iPhone continues to show off Apple’s superior engineering prowess. Measuring in at 7.6 millimeters thin and 112 grams, the iPhone 5 is  18% thinner and 20% lighter than the iPhone 4S, making it the thinnest and lightest iPhone yet.

The back of the iPhone 5 is made of anodized 6000 series aluminum, the same material used in Apple’s notebooks. The inlays along the top and bottom are made of ceramic glass on the white model and pigmented glass on the black variant.

Number 03 – Apple A6 Processor

Number 04 – 4G LTE Connectivity

The Apple iPhone 5 features up to 100 Mbps download speeds with 4G LTE connectivity. In a world where we like everything faster, the new iPhone offers fast internet speeds while maintaining great battery life by offering up to 8 hours of LTE web browsing.

Number 05 – Lightning Connector

With the iPhone 5, Apple has released the new  8-pin lightning connector which replaces the 30-pin connector for the first time since the first iPhone. The new connector is all-digital and more durable than 30-pin connector. Its also reversible which means you can plug it in either way without stumbling to connect it.

These are just some of the features which make the new iPhone 5 a great choice for you. Apple has improved the camera, faster Wi-Fi and have performed several other optimizations to make their device great. Many of which can be seen in the new operating system.

The iPhone 5 will run iOS 6.0 which unfortunately doesn’t offer any exclusive features to the newest phone as Apple has had a habit of doing. However you can be certain that since the new operating system has been designed around the iPhone 5 we can be sure that everything works better on the iPhone 5.

While the iPhone 5 offers a larger display, LTE connectivity, a more powerful processor all of which are features which would drain your phone’s battery, Apple offers a thinner, lighter experience with Amazing battery life due to their optimized experience.
