While the Amazon Kindle Fire dominated the 7-inch tablet market for most of last year, its dominance faced an immediate threat when Google released the Nexus 7 tablet. Now Amazon has responded with their new Kindle Fire HD lineup and its time to compare the new Amazon Kindle Fire HD with the Google Nexus 7.
The Nexus 7 and the Kindle Fire HD are two very similar tablets, with 7 inch displays and similar price tags. However the Nexus 7 trumps its competitor with a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, NFC connectivity and pure Google experience with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
