Today Microsoft officially unveiled Office 2013, during a special event at 12 noon (PDT) [3PM EST, 8PM UK, 9PM CET] in San Francisco. Microsoft Office 2013 will be available for Windows and Windows RT and is expected to feature a new design inspired by Microsoft’s Metro UI.You can also download the Microsoft Office 2013 Customer Preview right now and try it out on your Windows 8 or Windows 7 computer.

As we mentioned before, Office 2013 has been built around the simplistic design of Windows 8 with a flatter optimized design. Office 2013 is also integrated with your SkyDrive in the cloud and helps you stay connected with your Microsoft Account. The new version of Office also features several little features, improvements and security fixes.
