Alongside their upcoming release of Windows 8, Microsoft has also been hard at work on their productivity suite – Office 2013. While the software company has not revealed when the public a recent report suggests that Microsoft may be revealing their new version of Office on Monday, July 16th.
While previous rumors have suggested that Microsoft may have a Consumer Preview of Office 2013 ready by the end of the month, so it’s not unlikely we will get our first glimpse Office 2013 on Monday.
While pre-releases of Windows 8 have been making their rounds for some time now, it will be interesting to see how the new version of Office works side by side with the redesigned Metro UI in Windows.
Windows 8 is expected to be available to the public by October. If Microsoft plans to bake in Office 2013 with Windows RT- Microsoft's ARM tablet software, we should expect Office to make its rounds for testing sooner, rather than later.
