Samsung has expanded their existing Music Hub service alongside their launch of the Samsung Galaxy S III. The service will cost €9.99 (9.99) a month and give access to unlimited streaming from 7Digital’s catalog of more than 19 million songs. Users can also purchase music and prices comparable to iTunes. The free version of the Music Hub app will give access to the same music through 30 second previews.Samsung has also sweetened the deal by offering an unmatched 100GB of cloud storage for any of your unmatched songs which can then be streamed from the cloud to your PC or up to five mobile devices.
Users will also have the option to create customized radio stations from your music collection using a scan and match method similar to iTunes Match. Samsung even lets you sync with your iTunes catalog allowing your songs to be added to the Music Hub.
Samsung will bring the Music Hub app through its ecosystem and should eventually make its way to other Android smartphones. We can expect that Windows Phones and Samsung Smart TVs will also benefit from this service in the near future.
