Nokia Lumia 900 release date and price now official

The release date and pricing of the Nokia Lumia 900 are finally official. AT&T has revealed that Nokia's flagship Windows Phone will arrive in the U.S. on April 8th and will be priced at just $99.99 with a two year contract. This makes the Lumia 900 one of the cheapest high end smartphones to launch in recent years and confirms Nokia's commitment to the U.S. market.

After months of rumors and speculations AT&T and Nokia are finally ready to release the Lumia 900 to the U.S. public. The Lumia 900 features a 4.3 inch ClearBlack multi-touch display, 8 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens, a secondary camera for video calls, 16GB of internal storage, 4G LTE connectivity and is powered by a 1GHz processor. The Lumia 900 shares the polycarbonate unibody design of the Nokia N9 and is available in three colors.

The Lumia 900 is not the first Windows Phone handset from Nokia to reach the U.S. - The Nokia Lumia 710 was the first handset to arrive and comes in a more affordable package on the T-Mobile network. So as Nokia slowly builds up it's portfolio of devices it comes down to personal preference.

So will you be getting you hands on a brand new Nokia Lumia 900 on AT&T ? Let us know in the comments section below.

[UPDATE] It has been revealed that the Lumia 900 will sell for $499.99 off contract. This is a very reasonable price for Nokia's flagship considering Nokia's past high pricing trend.

[UPDATE] The White Nokia Lumia 900 will be released on April 22. You will only able to get the Black and Cyan handsets on the April 8th launch date. If you want to get your hands on the White handset you will have to wait until the 22nd.
