The Twitter application has been updated for the Android platform. The new version 3.0.0 brings an updated user interface which is made up of a four-tab system aimed at bringing "you instantly closer to everything you care about." The four tabs are made up of Home, Connect, Discover and Me.The design changes will eventually make their way to the Twitter website, but for now you can enjoy it on your Android device by downloading it from the Android Market or by using the link which follows:

Home shows all the tweets, while Connect shows who you follow, mentions, retweets or your favourites. Discover allows you to view the latest trends and hashtags and Me allows you to manage your profile.
You even have a dedicated tweet button, which will appear on the top which can be accessed from anywhere within the application.
