Subscription based gaming coming to iOS

Apple has approved subscription based gaming for the iPad and Big Fish Games has been the first to take advantage of this by bringing a collection of their games which will be available for iPad users at $6.99 per month.

You will have access to Big Fish Game titles like 'Mystery Case Files' and 'Mahjong Towers' from within the app, without having to download the games separately. The games are streamed from Big Fish servers over Wi-Fi instead of the file being downloaded onto your device.

As a special offer you can get the service for $4.99 if you sign up now, but the price will be increased back to $6.99 eventually. A free version is also in the making with restrictions of 30 minutes a day with ad support.
