Porche Design P'9981 - Officially introduced


RIM has officially introduced the BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9981 today. The device which was formally introduced as the BlackBerry Knight will be available later this year and is said to cost around $ 2,000.

The Porsche Design P'9981 is a smartphone designed by RIM and Porsche Design and runs BlackBerry OS. The device features a 2.8 inch touchscreen, 5MP camera and will be powered by a 1.2GHz processor.

The device features a stainless steel frame, leather back and a uniquely designed QWERTY keyboard. The P9981 also has a Porsche Design UI and a Wikitude World Browser augmented reality app. Each unit will have a premium PIN which allows users to find fellow P9981 users in a crowd.
