Facebook has been taking quite a lot of interest in messaging lately by release updates to it's messaging features on it's website. It looks like they are taking it one step further by offering a separate Messenger app for the iOS and Android platforms. Unlike the other apps in the market, the Facebook Messenger app allows you to message multiple people at the same time. It delivers messages through notifications and texts ensuring that you wont miss a message.
The messages will be threaded allowing you to keep track of your conversations and you can attach photos or location information to the messages and send them to multiple contacts or individually if you choose to.
