Nokia has scheduled a Symbian event for the 12th of April. The event titled, "Discover what's new with Symbian smartphones" establishes that Nokia has not given up on the Symbian platform in favor for Windows Phone OS and that we will be treated to a choice of Symbian phones in the years ahead.
The Nokia T7-00, E6 and X7-00 are devices which have been lurking in the shadows and are expected to make their public debut during this event.
A major update to the Symbian OS is also expected as we have seen screen-shots of a refreshed UI. It would be great to have more information on this update surface during this event.
There is an HTC event also set for the same date, with many great devices expected, so it would be great to see what the guys have HTC have to offer as well.
